our week in lapland exceeded all expectations. except for beaching a snowmobile in 1.5 metres of snow, it all went very smoothly and we had a ridiculously good time. it was great to see everyone enjoying the skiing/boarding so much, despite about half of the group of 12 being complete beginners. besides the skiing, we spent a lot of time in the sauna and had a particularly memorable evening in a big sauna by the lake going for a dip or 4. it’s odd how much fun extreme temperatures can be.

it’s getting warmer and more summery here but i really can’t wait for the winter to come around again!
