the usual suspects
i was going through my photos today and found this photo. i think gianfranco took it with my camera after i had gone to bed.
despite this bunch of people looking like they were about to rob a bank (vincenzo probably still has the key…), they are some of the kindest and warmest people i have ever met and i can’t wait to see them all again.
this summer’s trip back to platania is coming together nicely; me and rita will be there from the 15-31st with some old faces returning and some new ones about to experience the very unique calabrese hospitality… wailan and zoe will arrive on the 15th with us, ed the following weekend and james, andrea and sarah on the 26th.
hope some more good friends will travel down to join in the fun as well.
2 months to go, august is gonna be special.
