summer
the summer holiday is booked - 15-31st of august. i’m starting to realise how lucky i was having all summer in calabria last summer, but this year 16 days is all that i can do. :(
at least i’ll be there for the ferragosto weekend which is the height of summer in italy and the peak of all the festivities in platania. i really miss the atmosphere in platania at that time of year as the corso (the main street) is full of people ‘in giro’ (about town)…
